Clinical Director - Health & Social Care - HealthTech

The Clinical Director will be part of the leadership team, with the main focus on driving clinical excellence throughout the company. S/he will work alongside the Operations Director, the Research and Evaluation Director, responsible for analysing and driving the evidence for online digital delivery, and the Business Development Director. The job role will be managed by the CEO. The Clinical Services Director for Children and Young People, and the Adult Services Director and Children’s Services Director are also part of the SMT.

As Clinical Director the post-holder will inherit a robust clinical team who will continue to focus on the day to day clinical metrics of the business and support staff at the front line. This post is very much one where we would expect the person to take a strategic role of our clinical activities and drive forwards our new service developments, in particular our new Complex service.

Job Description and Personal Specification

Main Responsibilities:

To develop new clinical services focusing initially on children and young people ensuring they are safe, policy-driven, evidence based, flexible, acceptable to clients and commissioners, and demonstrably effective.as deemed strategically important to the business To involve young people and other stakeholders where appropriate in the design of new services To develop innovative clinical practice and ensure all practitioners and leads are working to deliver clinical outcomes and clinical data to support our work To be the clinical face of the organisation, speaking at conferences, attending networks, and providing content for marketing activity to promote the clinical work To support our strategy for developing an evidence base to our work. To ensure our services continue to be clinically safe and robust. To manage the Safeguarding Leads, ensuring safe practice and standards and that the service operates within the procedures for the relevant Local Safeguarding Children Board’s and company own policies and procedures. To support the clinical leadership team responsible for children’s and young people services and adult services To be part of a team to expand on and deliver existing training and CPD plans and to develop new training packages that can be delivered both internally and externally. To ensure that clinical activity is underpinned by the Voice of the Child in our children’s services and the integrity and respect of the adult service users in our adult services To support the delivery of Outcome Frameworks for Children and Young People To work with the clinical leadership team to ensure we are following BACP ethical framework.To support the business development team in securing renewals and new contracts. Attending appropriate meetings with CCGs, local authorities, trusts and those involved in commissioning our services.
