Provides effective leadership to the clinical staff. Ensures implementation of and fidelity to selected evidence-based practices and maintenance of licensing and Joint Commission standards. Essential Job Functions: + Oversee and coordinate agency clinical activities. + Oversee and coordinate treatment services for clients and their families with substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders. + Function as team leader for a multi-disciplinary treatment team, coordinating weekly case conference + Attend weekly case conferences as needed. + Implement, adhere to, and monitor licensing and Joint Commission standards and agency policies and procedures. + Monitor and adhere to Department budgets. + Recruit, hire, suspend, and terminate staff within budget, salary, and agency policy limitations. + Review and evaluate staff at least annually using direct observation and review of work. + Implement existing, new, or additional programs to comply with all funding criteria including, but not limited to the delivery of requisite services, compliance with restrictions, and reporting requirements. + Develop and maintain positive, effective community relations and partnerships. + Represent the agency, as requested, at meetings of funding agencies, governmental authorities, seminars, workshops, etc. + Responsible for ensuring maintenance of clinical records in accord with licensing, Medicaid, and Joint Commission standards and agency policy and procedure. + Nurture and adhere to the agency’s mission, vision, and philosophy. + Serve as a member of The Village Leadership Team. + Provide ongoing staff development and create a positive workforce. + Provide weekly supervision to the individual Program Directors and/or Program Coordinators. + Participate in monitoring and accreditation visits, as required. + Meet with the VP as required. + Assist with report writing for required progress reports for federal, state, county, and other grants. + Monitor program capacity, utilization, and unit of service delivery in coordination with Director of Program Operations and VP. + Represent the agency, as requested, at meetings of funding agencies, governmental authorities, seminars, workshops, etc. + Completes all orientation and mandated training activities, including E-Learning Courses, within required timeframes, and in accordance with the criteria established for this position. + Understands HIPAA, Professional Ethics, Consumer Rights and Confidentiality + Participate in performance improvement activities + Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation. Perform any other duties as assigned Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Certifications/Licensures: + Certification as a CAP or MCAP, in good standing by an agency approved and recognized by the Florida Certification Board is preferred at time of hire;Preference will be given to those candidates who are currently Certified; + Licensure as a LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in good standing by an agency approved and recognized by the state of Florida is required at time of hire. Education: + Graduation from an accredited masters program with a degree in Addiction Counseling, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or related field is required Experience and Competencies: + Two years of previously supervised work experience in providing individual/family therapy is required + Bilingual is preferred. + Maintains confidential files and records + The ability to determine eligibility of a consumer’s admission + The ability to evaluate the impact of substance use and mental health problems on the consumer’s functioning in major life areas + Knowledge of the inter-relationship among substance use, mental health, and primary care disorders + Knowledge in the understanding of Motivational Interviewing; Motivational Enhancement Therapy; Comprehensive, Continuous Integrated System of Care (CCISC);Trauma-Informed Care, and proficiency of nurturing Parenting Curriculum + Demonstrate proficiency is the administration and interpretation of the below listed assessments, as needed: + SMQ10 + PCL-5 + ASAM + Confidence Questionnaire + Child/Adult Behavioral Checklist + Overdose screening + Sissar/Cfars/Mental health outcome + GPRA + Locus + Demonstrate proficiency in the use of A-CRA and ACC + Demonstrate proficiency in individualizing the QRRS, GRRS, and biopsychosocial assessments + The ability to interface and communicate with internal and external providers + The ability to identify crises when they surface; Essential Physical and Mental Demands of the Job The employee must be able to perform the following essential duties and activities with or without accommodation: Physical Demands: + Requires mobility and physical activity: Having an adequate range of body motion and mobility to work in an office, residential, or outdoor environment including standing and walking (even and uneven surfaces), sitting for extended periods of time, bending, twisting, reaching, balancing, occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds. Use of computer and telephone systems is required which includes coordination of eye and hand, and fine manipulation by the hands (typing, writing, and working with files).
