EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
RD-Registered Dietitian
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
Minimum 3 years as Clinical Dietitian or equivalent experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Current clinical dietitian experience in acute-care hospital required, with generalized medical-surgical experience.
General nutrition principles
Diet therapy for disease states
Nutrition support principles
Education methods
General psychology
Assessment of nutritional status of adult & geriatric patients required.
Assessment of neonates and pediatric populations desired
Ability to read/write/speak English required. Bilingual verbal skills desirable.
Ability to meet established deadlines and multi-task in an environment of frequent interruptions.
Ability to work in self-directed manner, with attention to detail and accuracy required.
Communication skills required for patient education, problem solving, & multidisciplinary team interactions.
Basic computer skills required.

Pay Range is $48.49 to $65.13 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
