St. Peter's Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Clinical Dietician to join our dynamic Food and Nutrition Team!

The colleague in this role will be responsible for the following:
Nutrition management of all patients in assigned areas, involving nutritional assessment and care plan development.Education, goal definition/implementation, and monitoring of patient outcomes (i.e. progress towards goals). Medical record documentation accordance with defined policy and procedure.Provision of patient, family and community education.Consultation to medical and nursing staff on clinical nutrition and food service issues. Completion of required in-servicing on patient nutritional management.Appropriate practice of infection control measures i.e. response to isolation precautions. Direction of food service staff as needed. Electronic Menu system utilization and management. Participation in food and nutrition management activities such as test trays and meal rounds as requested.Position Educational Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics (Didactic Program for Dietetics)Completion of Dietetic InternshipRegistered Dietitian of ability to sit for RD examCertification with New York State is preferredPosition Experience Requirements:

Pay Range: $29.00 - $38.28
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
