General Summary
Provides safe, therapeutic and efficient care and services to patients of Employee Health and Safety Department in Lewisburg, PA for WS Evangelical Community Hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities

Enters or retrieves data from established computer files. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the assigned patient population. Provides direct patient care to assigned patient age group(s). Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required. Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Participates in educational programs and inservice meetings. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. The following are tasks and services that the Employee Health Clinical Assistant will not complete:- Physical examination/assessments or review and evaluation of patient history.- Any medication administration including all PPDs, vaccines, IM, PO, topical or OTC medications.- Care planning including, but not limited to: ordering diagnostic testing, decision making in creating a plan of care, medical triage of patients, diagnosis, discharge patient education.

Minimum Education:
Work Experience:
2 years Relevant experience. Required Less than 1 year In occupational health office, urgent care or other relevant experiences. PreferredLicenses:
Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required Certified Medical Assistant Upon Hire PreferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
