About The Job:
The Clinic Registered Nurse is responsible for managing nursing care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance, and restoration of patient's health and wellness within their scope of practice. The Clinic Registered Nurse will direct and support nursing/clinical personnel providing patient care within the facility as assigned by the Clinic Director or RN Supervisor. This includes the evaluation, revision, and implementation of clinical policies and procedures related to the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care; maintenance of clinical staff personnel and education records; in-services and performs Clinical Staff functions. The Shift: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) (40 hours per week)
Hours: Works Monday through Saturday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: $25.63 with ADN and $26.63 with BSN, increases with experience.
Qualifications
+ Education:
+ Graduate of an accredited program in professional nursing.
+ Current R.N. licensure in the State of Iowa.
+ ACLS certification preferred, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire
+ PALS certification preferred, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire
+ Experience:
+ Previous experience in a health care setting is preferred.
+ Special Skills & Aptitudes:
+ Verbal and written communication skills.
+ Demonstrates knowledge and support for the principles of customer relations in daily activities with others.
+ Maintains certification in BLS/CPR.
+ Completes Mandatory Reporting requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.
+ Develops competency to provide care within the assigned unit to the population described in the scope of care.
+ Must have basic computer skills.
Who We Are:
Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.
