SCHEDULE
FTE: 1.0, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 8-4:30, Wednesday 12-8.
They will room patients, take vitals, review medical history, medication lists, surgeries, pregnancies, enter information into the EMR, and will report information to the primary provider. They may assist with in office procedures. They will also help with entering labs orders, orders for imaging such as ultrasounds, and assist provider with exams. They may do prior authorizations for procedures and surgeries. They will assist with notifying patients of test results and sending out notifications in the mail. They will help prep charts each day for the providers.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Utilizes judgment and skill in providing direct and indirect patient care, observation, and counsel to patients and family. Communicates with providers and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

Sitting – Approximately 25% of shift. Standing– Approximately 25% of shift. Walking – Approximately 50% of shift. Lifting – Approximately 35 pounds. Must use, and require staff to use, when in hospital and pre-hospital settings, proper body mechanics and ergonomics and, as applicable, lifting/moving devices. Twisting – Infrequent. Bending – Moderate. Squat/Kneel – Infrequent.
