Our practice is located at 14 Williams Street, Williamsburg, MA 01096. As an internal medicine office, we provide primary care for adults.


 

Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time, 24-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to support the practice onsite on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The Clinic/Practice Assistant serves as the face of our medical group and plays a key role in managing the patient experience on the reception/administrative support side. We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting!

Our front desk is always a team effort! Two Clinic/Practice Assistants work side by side, welcoming and checking in about 35 patients each day. It’s a lively, people-focused role where you’ll get to team up with a coworker, keep things running smoothly, and make every patient feel supported.

We’re a small, tight-knit team that works closely together and supports one another. Our staff are known for developing genuine, long-standing relationships with patients, making our office feel like part of the community.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials
Certified Medical Administrative Assistant [CMAA] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred

Experience
office experience 2-3 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency with all Office Suite, Knowledge of office operations and standards and understanding of office procedures including filing, copying, scanning, printing and faxing.
- Ability to use phone system and manage more non-routine phone calls and solve routine issues as appropriate.
- Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience and talking to others to convey information effectively.
- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents, to correspond and communicate with others clearly and effectively (including composing/editing e-mail, memos and letters), and to take complete and accurate messages.
- Managing one's own time and the time of others.
- Well organized and good time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively, follow established protocols, and work within systems.
