Status: Part-time, Benefit-Eligible Average Hours per pay period: 48 hours every 2 weeks + DESCRIPTION OF POSITION + Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for providing excellent nursing care to cardiovascular clinic patients. Will actively participate in non-invasive diagnostic testing conducted in the scope of the cardiology clinic services. Assist provider with collection of data, patient/family education, community outreach and coordination of care activities + QUALIFICATIONS + Professional/Educational + Graduate of an accredited RN school. BSN preferred. + Current Illinois Registered Professional Nursing license with biennial renewal. + Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). + Experience in Ambulatory Care Clinics. + Proficient with computers. + DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. + Personal + Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. + Possesses the ability to work under pressure. + Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability. + Willingness to be flexible and adaptable. + Maintains the Standards of Conduct. + Evidence of knowledge and ability to use proper channels of communication. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
