Position Overview Client Transformation Consultants play a crucial role in project management and providing consultative capabilities to our clients. Their primary responsibility is working on Client Transformation Projects, which involve transforming a current Paylocity client’s software configuration. This role involves the intake, scoping, execution, and overall project management of these client projects. Primary Responsibilities The below represents the primary duties of the position, others may be assigned as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and requirements for the transformation projects. + Review with client, configuration of system to ensure the software is aligned with the client’s needs and expectations to ensure optimal utilization of system capabilities. + Conduct thorough discovery of client needs to develop effective project plans. + Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients on best practices and strategies for successful project execution. + Identify HR opportunities and efficiencies that can be solved with Paylocity products or HCM solutions. + Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation of client transformation projects. This includes monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies. + Leverage in-depth system knowledge to configure solutions for core products. + Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of project deliverables. + Troubleshoot and resolve system related matters, escalating critical concerns to the appropriate teams when necessary. + Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service. + Handle sensitive client information in large amounts, as well as manipulate data to ensure the Paylocity system reflects the correct setup. + Contribute to departmental goals of providing an unmatched client experience and help maintain client retention. + Report out on project status to Paylocity leadership in routine project review meetings. + Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring open communication and teamwork. Actively engage team members to ensure a cohesive and productive team dynamic, encouraging the sharing of ideas and best practices. + Facilitate quality assurance meetings to ensure configuration is correct, all risks are resolved, and the business problem identified during the project intake is being solved. Education and Experience + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience. + 3+ years of Customer Service or Customer interfacing role + 2+ years’ experience in HCM consultation or benefits / payroll / HR + Ample knowledge of the Paylocity system, essentially within the Enterprise and Large Enterprise client segments, to be able to understand system dependencies and best practices. + Proven experience in project management, preferably in client transformation projects. + Proven track record of successfully managing high revenue clients. Demonstrated ability to handle escalated clients and effectively resolve challenging situations. + Strong consultative and analytical skills to understand client needs and develop effective solutions. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with C-Level associates of clients. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. + Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (with a strong emphasis on Excel) and Other Programs: Adapt quickly to new software platforms and leverage their capabilities to optimize project outcomes. Experience with Excel functions including VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, data manipulation and analysis. + Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Physical requirements + Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day. + Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. The base pay range for this position is $46,500 - $70,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
