Job purpose
The Client Technologies Specialist I ntern - is primarily responsible for IT Customer environment,
Executes tasks to enhance and support the desktop environment, provides specialized IT services (e.g. high-level meeting support, root-cause analysis, customer consulting), and provides IT facility related services (e.g. audio-visual environment, security systems, printers/copiers). The Client Technologies Specialist Intern also provides on-site support for the IT infrastructure teams as needed.
Key responsibilities
+ Service Delivery Responsibilities
+ Helps to build and maintain good relationship s with staff and IT infrastructure teams
+ Ensures quality services are performed to the agreed SLA
+ Ensure that systems, processes and methodologies specified are followed and to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery is ongoing
+ Understands Incident, Problem and Change Management principles
+ Ensures first class IT Service Delivery across locations for infrastructure services
+ Ensures that remote and on-site support issues are resolved to customers satisfaction
+ Support the setup of processes around Service Management
+ Client & Asset Service Responsibilities
+ General Computer Desktop & Laptop support
+ Configure new and existing devices according to c orporate standards for deployment
+ Desktop Application installation and troubleshooting
+ Perform test equipment computer drive imaging for disaster recovery
+ Perform preventive maintenance on test equipment computers on regularly scheduled basis
+ I nstall and commission specialized non-company-standard high-performance computers and peripherals (e.g. PoE IP cameras, barcode scanners, EV chargers, etc.) for engineering use in the test lab environment
+ Assists with develop ment of more efficient processes and procedure s in the test lab environment
+ Document process and procedures for the lab IT .
+ Maintain Licenses Management and version control
+ Hardware Refresh Project involvement
+ Maintains client security settings (e.g. admin rights, software installs, etc . )
+ S upport staff by phone, email, chat, etc.
+ Provide basic network, security and printing support , but also owning problem resolution and engaging other teams as needed
+ Support of Local Production/Manufacturing Connectivity
+ Printer installation, configuration & support
+ Physical skills: Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry objects; must be able to lift box es , weighing up to 35 pounds, off the floor, carry it 50 feet, and place it on a bench 3 feet high. Ability to use hands to grasp and manipulate tools and small objects.
