What We Want
The Client Technologies Analyst I, under general supervision, performs routine client technology support functions to ensure the effective operation of hardware, software, and network systems. Key responsibilities include installing, upgrading, and configuring hardware and software, as well as assisting in the design and implementation of server systems and network file servers. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues, providing Tier I support, and assisting with Tier II support when necessary. The Analyst also supports Athletics events outside regular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Additional duties include monitoring system security, supporting data protection and recovery, and ensuring compliance with NCAA, Conference, and University regulations. The position contributes to evaluating new technologies, participating in training and professional development, and documenting support procedures and progress. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the technological infrastructure and supporting the mission of the Athletics Department.
Salary: $45,000
Location: Onsite - Kyle Field and additional sporting venues, as required
What You Need to Know
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience + 4 months of student worker and/or customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of installing and managing both MacOS and Windows desktops in an Active Directory environment.
+ Two years’ experience in a higher education environment.
+ CompTIA A+ certified.
+ Ability to multitask and work cooperatively others.
+ Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
+ Knowledge of advanced analysis, troubleshooting, problem-solving, client relations skills, requirement assessment and analysis, project management methodology, context and interrelationships, and proficiency of the Information Technology Interface Library (ITIL).
+ Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Work Conditions
+ This position requires regular travel between multiple buildings across campus and the ability to work in various environmental conditions. The successful candidate must also be available to support Athletics events, which includes working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
