We are seeking a talented individual to join our Government Healthcare Consulting (GHSC) team at Mercer. This role will be based in Phoenix, and it is a hybrid role with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Mercer’s Government Human Services Consulting (GHSC) practice focuses on the unique and challenging needs of the public health care sector, providing a wide array of consulting services to local, state, and federal government agencies across the country.
As a Client Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in reviewing professional documents, ensuring they meet Mercer’s global standards, while handling monthly client invoicing. You’ll leverage your critical thinking and attention to detail to support high-quality project delivery and foster open communication and collaboration within a dynamic team. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll contribute to impactful projects in a supportive and inclusive environment. We will count on you to:
Complete monthly client invoicingCreate and edit documents using advanced technical skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint while ensuring all documents produced adhere to Mercer's global identity/document standardsEstablish, maintain, and manage client subject files, personal working files, and legal plan documents as applicableProvide peer review of documents before final production/distribution to ensure quality control of the final productEnsure all documents produced adhere to Mercer's global identity/document standardsHandle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity while communicating openly and often among team membersContribute to accurate client/project budget management through accurate and prompt time entryStrive to promote smooth workflow and ensure team needs are metAssist team with a variety of tasks assignedWhat you need to have:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience1-2 years of project support experience, preferably in a consulting environment or professional service industryAdvanced computer skills, including extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong judgment, discretion, confidentiality, and decision-making skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organizationCapability to work well under pressure and with limited direction while handling multiple tasks and prioritizing effectivelyExceptional interpersonal, organizational, business communication, and time management skills.Strong attention to detailDemonstrated problem solving capabilitiesWhat makes you stand out?
