Job Description:At Regions, the Client Solutions Trust Administrator - Private Wealth is responsible for the administration of Personal Trust and Investment Management client relationships. This position is responsible for retaining and providing support and service to their existing client relationships.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversees client relationships and administers transactions on an assigned book of trust accountsDevelops internal and external business networks to identify opportunities to enhance the profitability of the trust book of business, when applicableDemonstrates a thorough understanding of client objectives, and develops customized solutions based upon subject matter expertiseUnderstands unique, complex trust agreements and appropriately manages accounts in compliance with Regions capacity and legal and regulatory guidelines.Manages the set-up, implementation, and administration of trusts, IRAs, and IMAs, ensuring account administration follows fiduciary principlesConducts Annual Administrative and Compliance Reviews for clientsCoordinates client service activities with other areas of the organizationDetermines the financial viability and associated risks of client businessLeads client pre-call planning meetings & client meetings.Participates in book of business reviewsUnderstands multi- state specific trust statutesDemonstrates solid knowledge and understanding of Regions’ products and services, including retirement, investment management, and charitable givingSupplies Portfolio Managers with documentation for Annual Investment reviewsFacilitates the non-discretionary and discretionary distribution process, communicating with partners when necessaryHandles annual tax coordination, fee set up, and daily cash managementEnsures all accounts comply with applicable internal programs and procedures, to include fiduciary principlesMay participate in technology projects and process pilots to enhance innovation for the team or Wealth ManagementCoordinates administrative functions with attorneys, co-trustees, investment advisors, and CPAsEnsures client activity is appropriately documented in OneViewMay review accounts for potential transition from Private Wealth Management to Client Solutions.Ensures appropriate management of trust account assets, with an awareness to future potential depletionRemains abreast with industry trends to ensure prudent administration and investment managementPerforms duties in compliance with Corporate and Private Wealth Management Program Documents and Procedures and all applicable external regulationsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
High School Diploma and one (1) year of Trust or closely related experiencePreferences
Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)Juris Doctor (JD)Experience in Trust Administration and Institutional/Retirement Services AdministrationExperience in Transactions including GST, 65-day elections, LLC’s and Partnerships, Decantings or Modifications, and 5/5 PowersExperience with Trust accountingFamiliarity with governing/applicable laws and regulationsProfessional designations and/or certificationsSkills and Competencies
