Client Solutions and Regulatory Support
 

Summary:

The Client Solutions and Regulatory Support role reports to the Health & Safety Support Supervisor and is responsible for assisting The Townsend Company, LLC by coordinating bid responses, regulatory interactions, and other functions. This position supports the Health & Safety team through research, due diligence, documentation, tracking, and process creation for bid submissions, regulatory responses, and other department initiatives.

Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:

The Client Solutions and Regulatory Support position includes the following responsibilities:

Assist Health & Safety leadership with the review and response to client bid requests. Collaborate with the Health & Safety leadership and The Townsend Company, LLC’s Legal team on matters involving federal and state OSHA interactions. Support Health & Safety operations by reviewing, updating, and maintaining the incident investigation and tracking process. Conduct research and assist with updates to safety programs and training materials, as requested. Act as a subject matter expert on designated projects and topics. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and work rules. Respond promptly and professionally in accordance with protocols during emergency situations. Perform all assigned duties accurately and on time. Provide regular and accurate reporting to the Health & Safety Support Supervisor. Perform other related duties as necessary.

Education and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, individuals must consistently demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential duties effectively.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience. Valid driver’s license required. Three years of leadership experience in a supervisory role preferred. Solid working knowledge of tree and landscape safety standards and practices preferred.

Language Ability:

Able to read and comprehend written instructions, correspondence, and memos. Capable of drafting clear and professional correspondence. Able to effectively communicate information in both one-on-one and group settings. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

 

Math Ability:

Perform basic arithmetic functions.

Reasoning Ability:

Apply logic and understanding to follow detailed instructions presented in various formats. Effectively resolve problems with multiple variables in dynamic situations.

 

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer software used to perform job functions.

Certificates and Licenses:

May be required to obtain and maintain applicable licenses and certifications.

 

Work Environment:

The employee may be exposed to:

Varying noise levels and environmental conditions. Frequent distractions and interruptions. The need to multitask effectively.

 

Physical and Work Demands:

Perform administrative duties such as typing, filing, and organizing. Respond to visual and verbal communication effectively. Adapt quickly between tasks. Communicate professionally in all situations. Perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, sorting, and grasping. Remain effective in the presence of distractions or work frustrations. Maintain regular and timely attendance. Participate in ongoing employee and professional development.
