The Client Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient care and excellent client service within the veterinary practiceThis position is under the direction of the Hospital Manager and involves a wide range of complex administrative activities that support effective business operationsThe Supervisor is responsible for managing finances and accounting, marketing and promoting services, staffing and human resources, and other discretionary activities that contribute to the overall success of the organizationThe ideal candidate for this role is a reliable self-starter who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environmentThe Supervisor will also be expected to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which may include working days, evenings, and weekendsIn this leadership role, the Client Service Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the client service areas, ensuring that the front office runs efficiently and effectivelyThis includes training and mentoring staff, resolving client complaints, and enforcing policies and proceduresThe Supervisor will also work closely with the Hospital Manager to assist in daily operations and provide recommendations for improvements in workflow processes and client service needsResponsible for the day-to-day client service areas of the front office and internally with departmental relationsInterview, train, coach, develop, mentor, and take disciplinary action as appropriate for staffDirect on-the-job training to develop employee skill sets and advise employees of performance requirementsAssist Hospital Manager with day-to-day operationsResolve informal client complaints and maintain and report on these issues to the hospital managerEnsure efficient day-to-day running of the front office, including enforcement of policies, procedures, and protocolsIdentify and provide recommendations for potential problems, non-routine situations, workflow processes, and client service needs to the hospital managerMake decisions on behalf of the department utilizing good judgment in the best interest of the hospital and clientsCoach employees and direct reportsAssist in the development and delivery of employee evaluations for the front desk with the hospital managerAssist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of reporting tools and queries needed to manage the businessHandle communication of financial information to clients and doctorsAct as a liaison between the front office and other department supervisorsIf you are a current associate, you need to apply through our internal career site.
