As a Client Service Representative Analyst in Cleared Margin Client Service Team, you will deal primarily with buy-side clients (Hedge Funds, Investment Advisors/Asset Managers) and will develop partnerships internally with various Marketers/Salespeople, individuals in Prime Brokerage, Credit Executives, Middle Offices, and Line of Business Operations Teams.
The Cleared Margin Client Service Team currently supports clients trading Futures & Options (F&O) and Over the Counter (OTC) Cleared Derivative products within the Equities Markets department of JPM. The team undertakes the essential task of agreeing and settling margin values (Cash, Securities, Letters of Credit) with clients for the purpose of covering the bank's risk against client's Trading Centrally Cleared Products. You will be a Bournemouth based team member, responsible for both client service and operations functions.
Job responsibilities
Develop the Clearing Client Service offering.Provide a flexible approach in order to support the Prime Financial Service businesses in a continually changing market environment.Answer incoming margin settlement requests sent by clients, comparing them to JP Morgan's exposure and agreeing on the amount and type of asset to be moved.Follow up on any counterparty failed settlements and investigate of disputed/uncovered margin requirements.Provide timely resolution of incoming queries regarding a client’s portfolioEscalate of issues.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Client Services experienceProblem solver with the ability to assist in the development of solutions for clients and a strategic thinker, able to review and implement process improvements.High level of accuracy and attention to detail is required and highly numerate with good keyboard and core system (Outlook, Excel, Word) skills.Must possess heightened communication skills, as the role involves detailed interactions across multiple lines of business and core processing areas.Confidence to meet with client's and deliver feedback on data relating to the clients interactions with the teamAbility to work an 11am-7pm shift two days a week (Friday rotation). Other three days core 9am-5pm UK.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Transferable history partnering with internal parties and senior/demanding internal clients and effective relationship building with a wide variety of stakeholders, for example; Clients, Credit Execs and Business Partners.Preferable knowledge of OTC Derivative products, Futures and Options, or similar background.
