VCA Southeast Portland Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and personable Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our dedicated team.

We’re looking for a dependable, compassionate, and highly professional “service extraordinaire” to help us deliver an outstanding experience to every client who walks through our doors.
As the first point of contact for clients, the CSR sets the tone for our hospital. You will help foster lasting relationships by providing empathetic, clear, and confident communication to pet owners. You’ll be a key member of our team, working closely with our medical and support staff to keep things running smoothly.
Core Responsibilities Include:
Providing warm, professional client service in person and over the phoneGuiding clients and their pets to exam rooms with kindness and efficiencyScheduling and confirming appointmentsMaking outbound calls for follow-ups and new client outreachPresenting and explaining treatment plans and feesProcessing payments and invoices accuratelyAssisting clients with product recommendations, prescription requests, and general care guidance (e.g., flea/tick prevention, house training, nutrition)Maintaining accurate medical records and correspondenceSupporting general hospital upkeep (including pet waste removal) and ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and welcomingPerforming other duties as assigned or requested to support hospital operationsWhy Join VCA Southeast Portland?At VCA Southeast Portland, you’ll find more than just a job—you’ll be part of a supportive, inclusive, and passionate team that values collaboration, continuous learning, and compassionate care.
