What You’ll Do

We are looking for a Client Services Associate to join our team. You will handle the coordination and overall management of client account documentation and maintenance. You will collaborate with the advisor team to prepare client reports and maintain contact with clients in a positive and client-centric approach. You will report to the Operations Manager. #LI-Onsite

 

Establish, service, monitor, and maintain client investment accounts. Meet client’s needs and develop trust by providing excellent service. Prepare brokerage account paperwork for opening new accounts, terminated accounts, and account transfers. Assist clients with changes, transactions, inquiries, requests, correspondence or re-direct. Oversee the asset transfer process: establish rapport with custodial contacts to help ensure accurate completion of requests; coordinate to resolve service issues. Maintain Black Diamond portfolio management system. Process incoming checks and screen incoming account paperwork for accuracy. Enter and maintain cost basis; assist Operations Manager in calculating cost basis. Use all available resources to determine the most efficient and accurate methods to accomplish client service requests and workflow. Attend continuing education including Schwab seminars. Participate as a member of different internal committees. Participate in special projects.

 What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, economics, business management or a related field. Four or more years of experience in a similar position, including brokerage experience (in a financial planning/brokerage firm or investment bank). Paraplanner designation preferred. Must be willing to increase knowledge of the industry through continuing education. Interpersonal, listening and written/verbal communication skills. Must be organized, analytical, able to multi-task and proactively research and solve problems. Work independently and establish priorities. Proficiency in Word, Excel, CRM and Outlook. Working knowledge of a variety of investment tools. Excellent follow-through and communication to team members regarding status of open items. Work with the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics. Team player, able to work well with all levels of the Practice, and clients
