Client Relationship Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
This is a great job for someone with Asset management industry knowledge, particularly within a distribution function, beneficial combined with effective knowledge of operational processes.
A bit about the job:
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a high level of client retention and enhancing the reputation of Aviva Investors through exceptional relationship management and client servicing. You will be responsible for managing, servicing, and developing relationships with a defined group of existing clients across various asset classes, delivering a consistently high standard of service to both domestic and global wealth clients, as well as third-party service providers. Your role will involve identifying risks to existing relationships and implementing effective retention strategies, while promoting a culture of client service excellence across the organisation. You will attend and host formal client meetings and due diligence visits, providing updates on fund and market performance with support from Investment Directors or Portfolio Managers. Additionally, you will take ownership of resolving client issues promptly, including those related to reporting, performance, technical fund matters, and fee billing. A key part of your responsibilities will include maintaining strong internal relationships, acting as a knowledge resource for designated products, and leading the client onboarding process for both pooled and segregated mandates, including coordination of legal agreements and IMAs.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
A strong communicator able to listen to clients, understand their issues and deal with people at all levels.
Proven ability to take ownership of client queries and achieve successful resolution by influencing colleagues and third parties.
A strong collaborator able to build effective relationships with different business areas across Aviva Investors.
Practical awareness of relevant regulatory requirements.
Motivated to deliver first class relationship management and client service, balancing the needs of the client with those of Aviva Investors.
