We are currently seeking an expert level Project Manager who plans, directs, and coordinates activities related to Agilent CrossLab Enterprise Services’ design and implementation of customer Asset Performance Management (APM) programs.

The Project Manager participates in the conceptual development of APM solutions, develops the project and oversees its organization, scheduling, and implementation. This Project Manager accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating all project activities.

The Project Manager will work directly with a cross-functional internal team comprised of sales, delivery, engineering, business development resources, and the customer to ensure the project objectives are aligned with the contracted scope of work.

Specific Responsibilities include:

Works with sales team in pre-sales activities, negotiation, and contracting process.

Translate scope of work requirements and commitments into fully implemented asset performance management program.

Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contracted work scope specifications.

Track, manage and resolve project issues as they arise throughout the project lifecycle.

Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to internal resources and clients.

Develop and deploy solutions while adhering to project management process and methodology.

Provide Cross-functional team leadership that is aligned with Agilent policies and procedures.

Represent company in customer-facing project meetings and attend strategy meetings.

Formulate reports by extracting required data from various sources, concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling, for internal and external distribution.

Work with sales and service management to facilitate financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the customers and suppliers.

Track and reconcile revenue, cost of goods, accruals, and customer invoices using principles of cost accounting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, technical degree or a combination of education and experience.

8+ years of relevant experience.

Formal Project Management training or equivalent experience.

Understanding of laboratory instrument service and maintenance business (process & financial).

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint (MS Access and MS Visio helpful), and the ability to lead presentations with confidence.

Demonstrated success applying industry-accepted project management tools, processes, and methodologies.

Proven ability to manage client relationships with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Strong cross-functional team leadership.

Strong business acumen skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English.

Willingness to work varied hours when vital to achieve the desired results; occasional overnight travel required.

Preferred skills:

Basic GMP and GLP experience.

PMP certification.

Additional Details

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $114,080.00 - $213,900.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
