Job Summary:
The role plays a crucial part in leading the team responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Onboarding Teams, who are responsible for Client Acceptance risk activities and KYC activities for the BCI firm. The role will manage a team of Onboarding Advisers, who are the first point of contact for our Engagement teams when initiating Client Acceptance and related risk activities, including KYC. The team is tasked with maintaining our Client Onboarding systems, assisting our client facing Lines of Service in navigating onboarding procedures, and driving consistent data quality and controls.
In this role, you will work closely with the KYC SME team to ensure comprehensive understanding and implementation of KYC requirements, you will support our client-facing teams in using our onboarding systems effectively and drive accurate and timely management reporting across the business for better decision making and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include:
Manage the first line support for Client Onboarding/Continuance for our client facing Engagement Teams delivering efficient and effective onboarding for both new clients and periodic reviews of existing clients
Troubleshoot technical issues on acceptance systems and liaise with global teams for necessary escalations.
Participate in Global Acceptance & KYC working groups and communicate future developments to the lifecycle team.
Drive operational excellence through technology and process improvements for team performance.
Ensure training plans are in place for all team members and mentor them to encourage good teamwork practices.
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, relevant Risk team members, Engagement Teams, Compliance Team and any external outsourcing providers to maintain service quality.
Monitor the delivery of the client and engagement acceptance processes, ensuring compliance with quality management standards.
Holding the role of System Administrator across the Onboarding applications, taking responsibility for monitoring and managing user access and controls.
Responsible for overseeing the delivery of client acceptance and relevant onboarding training to client-facing engagement teams.

Skills & Experience Required:
Essential skills:
Experience in client risk management and understanding of KYC, financial regulatory environment, and AML risk implications.
Experience in Client Relationship Management
Ability to build trusted relationships and ensure data quality compliance.
Technologically proficient, with the ability to transform and analyse data.
Ability to problem-solve, prioritise, and delegate effectively.
Capability to coach and develop team members and manage workflow efficiently.
Desirable skills:
Experience in quality management and systems report writing.
Understanding of client structures in financial services
Client-facing experience in Salesforce.
Experience in managing cross-jurisdictional teams
Travel Requirements:
Travel between the Channel Islands is expected. Occasional travel to the UK and Operation Centre's in Europe may be expected from time to time.
