What will you be doing?
This hybrid role located in Stamford CT is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team and leverage data, analytics, and insights to inform growth strategy and address other critical business issues for a dynamic and successful company. We seek candidates with previous market research, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or marketing services experience along with a keen interest in slicing and dicing data to reveal actionable insights into consumers, shoppers, retailers, and in-market performance. Must have strong analysis, storytelling, and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
Leadership & Direction: Communicate the function's strategy and its relationship to the organization's mission, vision, and values; clarify the actions needed to implement this strategy within the area of responsibility; motivate people to commit to the mission, vision, and values and do extraordinary things to achieve the organization's business goals. Customer Relationship Development/Prospecting: Develop and implement a relationship management plan for strategic, complex potential accounts to build key relationships at local and national levels. Coordinate the engagement of own organization with the customer organization to ensure effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues Sales Opportunities Creation: Develop a personal network of senior managers within the business sector and represent the organization at business sector events. Obtain market intelligence, promote the organization, and enhance its reputation. Requirements:
10 + years of progressive business experience with a strong understanding of manufacturer/retailer issues having worked in one or more of the environments below: Retailer (any channel) Consumer Packaged Goods Brokerage Ability to develop and execute client relationship strategies and architect business proposals leveraging a cross functional team of service line experts by integrating Circana’s services and solutions and aligning them with retailer-specific business needs Demonstrated ability driving C-level engagements across the broad spectrum of CPG core issues (i.e. pricing impacts, promotion effectiveness, category management, product development, etc.) Proven experience maintaining manufacturer's and retailer's perspective in mind at all times; able to think through multiple divergent paths and understand the implications on the client and Circana Group A track record of creating and leveraging innovative solutions General management and P&L responsibility with a track record of exponential revenue and profit growth through the achievement of short- and long-term objectives Proven experience and success driving revenue growth through innovation Impactful executive presence Ability to translate vision articulated by stakeholders into solutions Leadership - able to demonstrate leadership of direct reports or complex project teams Business Insights - able to quickly assess complex client issues and identify root causality versus symptoms Impact - able to convey technical content and data analytics to all audiences in compelling ways Undergraduate degree required; Advanced degree preferredLocation

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $170,000 to $190,000.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive/commission pay.
