What is the opportunity?
The Client Experience Consultant is responsible for delivering comprehensive account servicing in a team-based model for RBC Advantage clients. This role will provide sales support, facilitate securities transactions, and deliver financial education, primarily in response to inbound calls. In addition, representatives will identify sales opportunities during conversations with clients and look to establish account review/needs based meetings with an RBC Advantage Financial Advisor.
What will you do?
Respond to incoming calls efficiently and effectively, providing a high level of service and timely follow-up, asking appropriate questions, disseminating investment information and education as appropriateOpen new accounts for existing clients as warranted and facilitate securities transactions at client’s requestResearch and resolve general inquiries within client accountsCompose effective client communications in accordance with established policies and proceduresPivot dialogue with the intent to establish an account review meeting with one of the RBC Advantage Financial AdvisorsDevelop proficiency with available technology as it relates to client service and business enhancement (including but not limited to BetaLink, ClientSource, Tradeweb Direct, Infinity, Outlook, InfoNET, Sales Force) Achieve solid understanding of eligible product offering including mutual funds, RBC Strategic Mutual Fund Portfolios, RBC Dynamic Allocation Portfolios, and other investment products (equities, fixed income, etc.)Stay current with market and industry trends and developmentsBe knowledgeable of and comply with all rules and regulations of the firm and regulatory agenciesPerform other duties as required that contribute to the overall effectiveness of the position as well as to the team as a wholeWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceTwo or more years of financial services industry experience with a focus on client serviceSIE, Series 7, Series 63 or ability to obtain within 120 days of hireKnowledge of investments, the markets, and regulatory policies and proceduresStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, managing multiple demands and competing prioritiesWhat’s in it for you?

This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
