Job Dimensions (Role and Responsibilities): • Perform the role of Client Account Director providing expert advice to clients with in-depth knowledge of risks and the reinsurance market, including responsibility for specific treaty renewals and assignments. • Identify and determine client requirements and provide access to relevant Reinsurance Solutions. • Engage with clients and prospects at senior management and executive level to establish shared goals and objectives. • Establish relationship in strategic client positions – act in the interest of the clients and offer products from more than one reinsurer to ensure that the clients get the best service & agreement. • Identify and manage new business opportunities and targets. • Maintain professional reinsurance network and work collaborative with other Reinsurance Solutions sub-region colleagues to seek best practices. • Establish relationships with internal worldwide account executives to ensure regular information flow and effective execution of business strategies. • Keep abreast of industry and professional development to ensure services provided remain best practice. • Coordinate within Aon or when appropriate to provide training to clients, internal stakeholders as required. • Provide mentorship (not limited to technical knowledge) to less experienced colleagues Stay compliant with local regulations. • Providing thought leadership in domain expertise Skills and Attitude: • Strong understanding of reinsurance contracts relating to premium, claims and credit control matters • Excellent organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and innovative problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple and effective way • Logical, analytical, and resourceful mindset, able to exercise flexibility and judgement • Ability to deliver under pressure in a high intensity and fast paced multinational environment i.e., meet very tight timelines ranging from 1–3-day turnaround • Ability to maintain positive, professional relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders across numerous territories, demonstrating strong skillset in: presentation, leading meetings, defining objectives, and delivering service level agreements o influencing and negotiating o working with multiple stakeholders in time critical environments • Ability to travel when required.
