Intro:
A leadership role within CSC’s Executive Compensation Services (“ECS”) team. This is an opportunity to help lead a dynamic, enthusiastic team and contribute to the strategic direction and growth of CSC’s Executive Compensation Services business. This role falls within the scope of the Jersey Financial Service Commission’s definition of “Senior Management Function” Category 3.
This role falls within the scope of the Jersey Financial Service Commission’s (“JFSC”) definition of “Senior Management Function” Category 3. Category 3 Senior Management Function is defined by the JFSC as:
‘The function of carrying out a duty or responsibility (alone or jointly with others) that the Money Laundering (Jersey) Order 2008 or an AML/CFT/CPF Code of Practice issued by the JFSC requires to be performed by senior management’.
This means you could be liable to a Jersey civil penalty if you were found to be culpable in a significant and material contravention by CSC Fiduciary Services (Jersey) Limited of the Money Laundering (Jersey) Order or the mandatory requirements set out in the Codes of Practice in the AML/CFT/CPF Handbook.
Some of the things you will be doing:
Contribute to the effective development of regulatory, compliance and risk management policies and procedures in relation to specified corporate structures Oversea the management of your client's / teams portfolios, offering advice from our internal processes and collaborating with your team Pro-actively act as a director and alternate director of client companies administered by CSC, conduct client meetings and contribute to board meetings of CSC operating companies Manage a portfolio of client relationships within ECS according to specialism and expertise Act as director or alternate director of client companies administered by CFS and CFS operating companies Ensure that the delivery of client service in the team meets agreed service standards Proactively develop key client relationships and actively contribute to cross-selling opportunities Manage the performance of the ECS team to deliver agreed business plan goals and targets Contribute to the ECS leadership function and in doing so, ensure adherence to CFS and CSC values Deliver effective communication within the team, providing regular reporting and feedback, so that agreed strategy and business plans are achieved Be accessible and approachable to all of your team members, offering guidance and development when required Deliver innovative and effective leadership in line with CSC’s values Contribute to the achievement of ECS specific business development goals in the relevant jurisdiction through proactive management and development of key client relationships and active contribution to cross-selling opportunities Provide guidance and guide the team to achieve their goals Be involved with ECS projects as and when required Oversee financial performance of the team and drive profitability. Accurately contribute to the production of management information to monitor performance against objectives

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need:
JFSC Category A employee, holding a Table 4 qualification Experience in a similar role, managing a team and overseeing complex share plan arrangements A minimum of 10 years’ experience working as a trustee within the share plan industry including overseeing complex corporate transactions for both listed and private companies. Regulatory approval in the relevant jurisdiction required for the ECS team Broad understanding of the wide range of fiduciary products offered by CSC globally Detailed, in depth understanding of the specific offerings within the relevant CFS Service Line Team leadership skills Good interpersonal skills Ability to understand, inspire and develop others Effective communicator Ability to formulate, consider and select the most appropriate solutions Strategic mindset Ability to work effectively in a team, providing support and guidance
