Your Role: Architecting the Future of Payment Systems
As a Client Consulting Manager, you will lead strategic engagements focused on payment system design and optimization, including risk management, fraud prevention, and operational resilience. You’ll work with clients across Central Europe to modernize their payment infrastructures and align them with evolving market demands and regulatory expectations
Key Responsibilities
Payment System Strategy: Advise clients on the design, modernization, and optimization of payment systems—including card networks, real-time payments (RTP), account-to-account (A2A) flows, and digital rails.Risk & Fraud Frameworks: Assess and enhance client risk management strategies, fraud detection capabilities, and controls across onboarding, transaction monitoring, and dispute resolution.Data-Driven Insights: Leverage Visa’s proprietary data and analytics platforms to identify inefficiencies, benchmark performance, and quantify risk exposure.Executive Engagement: Lead client workshops and present strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders across risk, operations, and technology functions.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Visa’s Risk, Identity, Cybersecurity, and Product teams to deliver integrated solutions under the One Visa framework.Implementation Support: Provide guidance on change management, solution rollout, and performance tracking to ensure sustainable impact.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
-Strong problem-solving capabilities, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
-Knowledge of payment & risk landscape that impacts FIs, across different categories of payments.
-Thorough understanding on banking strategies and solutions to support clients in overcoming the threats in the market.
-Understanding of Visa's Risk & Identity solutions, services, and security framework is preferred.
-Experience and knowledge in payment strategy development & their implementation, real time payments, Scams & Social Engineering, Merchant Onboarding risks is desirable.
-Client facing experience with designing executive proposals and leading complex delivery with senior executives.
-Ability to evolve strategy based on research, data, and industry trends backed by strong presentation and conversational skills.
-Fluency in English and German is mandatory
