Join Our AFIC Transactions Team at Marsh as a Client Advisor/Broker in London

We are looking for a skilled and motivated professional to become a key part of our Aircraft Finance Insurance Consortium (AFIC) transactions team. This hybrid role is based in our London office, requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite.

About the Role:
As a Client Advisor/Broker, you will provide expert advice and act as a broker for Lenders involved in AFIC transactions. These highly technical placements involve intricate policy structures linked to underlying financing arrangements, making your role crucial in guiding lenders through complex insurance solutions.

Ideal Candidate:
Understanding of financial, legal concepts or policy wording complexities is preferred along with prior broking experience however, we welcome candidates with other relevant insurance experience who are eager to develop their expertise in this specialized field.

We will rely on you to:

Provide specialist advice to actual and prospective funders about the AFIC solution 

Collaborate with funders’ internal/external counsel on amending the policy to fit with any variation to the transaction structure 

Negotiate and drive amendments to the policy with insurers as requested by funders and their counsel 

Manage the progress of the individual transactions and ensure that the insurance programme is aligned with the financing schedule. 

Build and maintain relationships with Funders and the Markets. 

Understand and comply with Marsh Compliance and Transparency Standards. 

Represent the Marsh brand at all times by living the Marsh and MMC values. 

Attend relevant industry conferences. 

Work closely with the AFIC team.  

What you need to have:

Proven professional experience such as insurance, finance, law or accounting preferred.

Experience with insurance coverage analysis, structured finance and/or complex transactions strongly preferred. 

Exceptional communication and organisational skills. 

Ability to collaborate across borders and work effectively within a team whilst being self-motivated and conscientious.
