Client Advisor

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh as a Client Advisor. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. The successful candidate will lead daily operations from a support and administrative level, coordinating complex logistics and task assignments for client relationship projects while ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.

We will count on you to:

Act as the lead advisory colleague on medium-sized or moderately complex accounts, developing a deep understanding of clients’ business priorities, risk strategies, and risk management needs to provide tailored advice.Utilize substantial risk expertise and industry knowledge to review clients’ exposures and loss experience, developing solutions that meet their needs, including recommending additional products and services.Present, develop, and execute renewal and placement strategies in collaboration with Placement, Advisory Leaders, and Client Executives.Partner with Placement to evaluate quotes from carriers, negotiate terms, and present evaluations to clients.Participate in presentations to prospective clients, identify new product opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to attract new business.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for complex client needs.Coordinate the production of client deliverables, monitor delivery and invoicing, and ensure the quality of materials provided to clients.Maintain an in-depth knowledge of market conditions to contribute to the firm’s expertise and internal knowledge sharing.

What you need to have:

Proven experience in risk advisory, insurance, or related fields, with a focus on medium-sized or complex accounts.Strong understanding of risk management strategies, insurance products, and industry trends.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deliverables efficiently.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $116,400 to $248,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
