Clerk, Quality Control

Position Summary:
Under general supervision of a manager, a Quality Control (QC) Clerk in warehouse operations performs checks or audits of production work performed in the Hospital, Manufacturing, Rx/Retail and Controls Substance Departments as well as the Sort/Shipping Departments/PID using a variety of methods and processes.

Primary Accountabilities:

Maintain a clear understanding of all standard operating procedures and related responsibilities within the QC DepartmentPerform quality checks and fulfill collected/submitted QC labeled iTag productsPerform quality checks of randomly selected totes, boxes and pallets of processed products to confirm accuracyUtilizing the QC program in Informix, individually scan each iTag, checking, documenting and correcting for errorsEffectively manage daily QC Error SheetsEffectively document and report all errors to the QC manager and the supervisor of the areaMeet daily QC productivity numbersHave a good understanding of SOPs of the assigned department/PIDMaintain professionalism at all timesEscalate significant events (i.e., Diversion, Adverse Events, Informix slow down, etc.)Follow all safety and security rulesKeeps work area clean and organized

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma (or its equivalent) required1-3 years related work experience in a warehouse or production job, preferably within the company; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position requiredLegally authorized to work in the U.S.Proficient in math; able to accurately enter numeric data using a 10-keypadAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment; must possess good interpersonal skillsAble to follow standard operation and safety proceduresStrong ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a timely and professional mannerProven detail orientation and organizational skillsAble to work under time pressure and meet production goals; able to work more than 8 hours per day (over-time) as neededAble to work in an environment that is not climate controlledAble to handle hazardous waste materials with appropriate safety measures

At Inmar, compensation reflects our belief in integrity, transparency, and the value of individual contributions. The hiring pay rate for this position is: 

$15.30

Incremental pay increase are provided at 3 months and 12 months of employment. This is a non-exempt, hourly role eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state laws.

In addition to base hourly pay, eligible employees in this role may receive: 

Safety bonuses based on meeting defined performance and compliance requirements.

Shift differentials, where applicable(e.g. for evening or late shifts)
