The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our facility during night hours. + Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming + Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to established guidelines + Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed + Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment + Spot clean carpets and upholstery as required + Follow proper safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals appropriately + Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to supervisor + Secure the facility at the end of the shift, ensuring all doors and windows are locked + Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management + Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently **Qualifications** + Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred + Proficiency in using various cleaning equipment and supplies + Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures + Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently + Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 25 pounds + Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently + Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic + Ability to follow instructions and adhere to cleaning schedules + High school diploma or equivalent preferred + WHMIS certification preferred + Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends as required + Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively **Additional Information** Dexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
