As a Cleaner at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services across clinical and non-clinical areas, following strict infection control protocols and safety standards. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting the wellbeing of everyone in the hospital environment.
We have multiple part time opportunities working, 0600 - 1000am, 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
What you'll do
Perform cleaning tasks across clinical and non-clinical areas to a high standard.
Respond to cleaning requests via handheld device promptly and professionally.
Follow infection control procedures, including use of appropriate PPE.
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and maintain them in good condition.
Support safety initiatives and report hazards or incidents promptly.
What you'll bring
Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare or regulated environment (preferred).
Understanding of cleaning procedures, chemical safety, and infection control.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Professional presentation and strong customer service focus.
