What You Will Do
Comply with aseptic gowning and hygiene requirementsReview filling and packaging instructions at beginning of line runs. Ensure the correct packaging materials are available. Ensure the correct Personal Protective Equipment is available and other safety procedures are understood and followed.Perform material handling and transfer disinfection and complete required inventory transactionsEnsure the line is set up correctly per the filling and packaging instructionsOperate filling and packaging equipment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including performance of all line operations to ensure customer quality, operational safety and productivity requirements are met.Complete changeover and line clearance according to SOP and batch record requirements. Collect samples and complete visual inspections as requiredActively participate in Kaizens, 5S, and special projects Continuingly identify opportunities for system and process waste elimination Perform basic, documented maintenance in accordance with department policyComplete and document activities in accordance with department SOP and Good Documentation Practices. This could include performing basic quality tests. Enter results on paper or in electronic systems.Complete packaging and filling assignment meeting or exceeding the standards
Position Details
Plant Location: Greensboro, NCShift: 1st Shift (6am-2pm, Monday-Friday)Compensation: $19.00 / hour (Clean Room personnel earn an additional $1.50 / hour for performing work in our Clean Room environment)
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED1 year of previous Production Manufacturing experienceAbility to use basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals No immigration sponsorship available for this role
Physical Demands
Position requires the performance of all essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:Complying with the rigid requirements for operating in a clean room environment including maintaining exceptional personal hygiene and donning / doffing multiple layers of protective clean room attire numerous times during a shiftLifting, shifting and carrying up to 50lbsPreferred Qualifications
Previous clean room or other GMP environment experience is highly desirableExperience understanding the mechanical movements of a machine Ability to complete training and master skills that are required by position (including but not limited to Hazardous Material Safety and DOT training) Ability to understand and track safety, quality and productivity data, including run rates, fill weights, and averages Experience with Total Production Management (TPM) & Continuous Improvement SystemsAnnual or Hourly Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $19 / hour. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
