Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our team. This position involves operating a tractor trailer to shuttle materials between our two manufacturing plants located just 7 miles apart. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with short-haul driving and physically capable of loading and unloading freight as needed. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A tractor trailer between Energizer Asheboro Plant 1 and Plant 2 (7-mile route). Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift). Ensure all cargo is properly secured and documented. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups. Communicate effectively with plant personnel. Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies. We we are looking for Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 year of commercial driving experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading. Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain). Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. High school diploma or equivalent Come join us!
