We are a family-owned business that has been in operation since the early 1980s. Since then, we have grown to become a major processor and vendor of scrap metals in the Montréal Area.

Job Description

What you're responsible for:

Safely operating a 12-wheel Roll-Off truck, a tractor with Roll-Off trailer, or a cube van to transport recyclable materialsPerforming pre- and post-trip vehicle inspectionsSafely loading and unloading binsKeeping the truck clean and in good conditionFollowing all traffic laws and company policiesMaintaining accurate logs and recordsTaking part in yard duties, which make up approximately 50% of the role, including:Operating a loader or forklift once comfortable (training provided if needed)Assisting the mechanic occasionally (light manual help only, no mechanical work)Collaborating with the team and providing excellent customer service

Qualifications

To join our team:

You have a valid Class 1 FM driver’s license with a clean driving recordYou have 12 to 24 months of experience as a Class 1 FM driverYou are experienced with manual transmissionYou speak French fluently (essential for team communication)You are customer-focused and enjoy working as part of a teamYou are in good physical condition and able to assist with loading/unloading when neededYou have knowledge of metal recycling processes and materials (an asset)You have experience with dump trucks / Roll-Offs (an asset)You are punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
