Job Duties
Load and offload products and waste as required
Complete documentation accurately including manifests, log books and bills of lading
Document dangerous goods in compliance with TDG
Coordinate with dispatch the maintenance of the assigned vehicles and equipment
Multiday routes in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Labrador, New Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario
Complete daily schedule of assignments to pick up and transport waste oil from customers
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Class 1 driver’s license
Minimum 2-3 years’ operating semi-truck with van trailer. Experience with b-train transport, tank trailer transport, roll off bin transport, and self-loading and unloading liquids (pumps) considered an asset
Knowledge of TDG, WHMIS, and DOT Regulations
Ability to complete BOLs and Waste Movement documents as compliant with TDG Regulations
Demonstrated physical ability to work, including but not limited to, length sitting, climbing, lifting and pulling.
Ability to work weekends, statutory holidays and rotating shift as required
Ability to complete multiple day trips, in sleeper.
Must be able to secure passage on federally regulated transportation (airlines, ferries)
Pre-Employment and regular site access drug and alcohol testing required
