Job Description

CEDA is currently seeking Operators at our Conklin location.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Operate and maintain combo, semi-vac, super B, tri-quad, pressure truck equipment and various specialty toolsWork safely at heights up to 40 feet in a labour intensive capacityClimb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your backComplete minor maintenance and checks on equipmentEnsure safety for all team members and propertyProvide quality services to our clientsWork as part of a team and follow direction from supervisionLearn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipmentLeave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done.Haul hoses, PPE and tools to where the work is being doneComplete required paperwork for projects and jobsOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

Valid Class 1 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is requiredDriving is in your nature, a manual transmission is a breeze (10 - 18 speed, doesn’t matter you will pass CEDA’s driver assessment with flying colours)1+ years’ experience in an industrial environment on pressure and vacuum equipment is preferred H2S Alive and CSO (Common Safety Orientation or CSTS-09 requiredConfined Space - Entry & Monitor, elevated Work Platform and Supervisor Ground Disturbance Level II tickets are an asset but not required, we can train you!

Skills

Strong mechanical aptitudeYou are safety focused when it comes to people and equipmentPerform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
