JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
After review by the Consultant level team member, transmit First Reports to the insurance carrier. Apply all applicable information when reporting the claim relating to the client, policy, and loss information.Follow up and document acknowledgement of receipt of First Report by carrier, when necessary, follow-up with carriers and clients to gather and report information about specific claims.Oversee and follow the MMGs workflows.Enter new loss information into RMIS system to record the claim information all relevant claim information.Obtain relevant information from the insurance carrier.Utilize Riskonnect to generate claim related reports such as open claims, adjuster report, dollar impact charts, etc.Responsible for “Tracker Management” for the team, ensuring that all updated and deliverables are sent out according to the appropriate schedule.Utilize iManage to access renewal documents, loss run information, and presentation information.Complete open claim action plans and unit stat reports on a client-based timeline.Assist, at the direction of the Claims Consultant or Associate Claims Consultant, in completing tasks on New/Renewal Account Checklist.Prepare “Renewal package” including claim forms, Fast Facts, etc. for each account at renewal for review by the Consultant level team member. At Renewal, the assistant should review Claims Info Sheet for carrier/policy changes and communicate changes to Loss Information Unit for loss run and GrahamAlytics purposes. Order reports and follow-up to make sure all are received such as loss information from LIU, carriers and their systems, and interdepartmental information.Prepare various claims analysis charts and reports to be included in Claims Services Review Booklets.Assist with the preparation of Claims Services Meetings. Prepare various claims analysis charts and reports to be included in Claims Services Booklets.Handle claims calls with courtesy and responsiveness.Prepare correspondence such as check distribution letters, loss run letters, etc., for review by the Claims Consultant or Associate Claims Consultant.When a formal client call is performed, obtain claims, notes or updates to assist the Claims Consultant in the process.When clients send unpaid medical bills to us, follow-up with the assigned adjuster to get payment made, if appropriate.Assist with meeting and travel arrangements, supplies and expense reports. Coordinate internal team meetings and assist with meeting preparation.Actively participate in trainings and meetings offered to Claims Assistants by The Graham Company. Attend meeting related to your position.Perform other tasks and special projects/assignments such as loss information tasks, supporting other units.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma with 2 years of administrative experience preferredAdvanced computer skills in MS Office Suite with special emphasis with Excel.Excellent spelling skills.Well-developed people skills.High level of organizational ability.Professional demeanor.Above average time management and organizational skills.Strong problem-solving skills.Above average attention-to-detail and proofreading skills.Proficient in agency standard computer applications.Perform other duties and projects assigned by The Graham Company managerial personnel.Regular and predictable attendance in accordance with the limitations and reporting procedures established by The Graham Company from time to time.Employees are required to be fit-for-duty which includes not being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. This includes any drugs that might impact an employee’s ability to safely perform their job.The applicable base salary range for this role is $50,000 to $70,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
