Claims Senior Associate

We’re looking for a Claims Senior Associate to join our Insurance Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring claim payments are validated and paid to the entitled beneficiary.

Position Responsibilities:

Terminate policies before setting up the claims process and process death benefits based on policy provisions.Validate claims, compute death benefit values, prepare checks, and assess survivorship death notices.Update systems with payment details and generate hard copy communications regarding client requests.Follow up on outstanding death claims requirements and maintain productivity, accuracy, and service level standards.Perform outbound calls to facilitate death claims processing and maintain work inventories and time trackers.

Required Qualifications:

Education: College/University graduate, preferably with related work experience in financial services.Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications and In-Force administration systems.Soft Skills: Good written and oral communication, strong time management, and multi-tasking skills.Keyboarding Skills: Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute with specific speed requirements for alphanumeric and numeric typing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Successful completion of compliance and eight-week training program.Knowledge of Claims and Titles functions and insurance contract law.Ability to identify complex and non-complex transactions.Familiarity with AWD 10, EFS, PEGA, Bridger, Etreasury, Salesforce, LWB, Mainframe, ELAPS, Outlook, MS Access, Workday, and VPAS.Open to MBPS employees with one-year tenure who have met performance metrics without attendance or disciplinary issues.
