Job Summary
This position is part of the Global Claim Operations team, which is responsible for the operational support of the Global Reinsurance Claim Department. Its primary responsibility is supporting the International Reinsurance Claim team. The position is open to anyone hoping to build a career with a globally recognized Company. This Claims Operation's Associate role will be based in our Warren NJ office and has a hybrid schedule, with the option of working two days remotely each week.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work closely and effectively within the broader global reinsurance claims team.Receive, index, and distribute claim correspondence in all formats, including Peer-to-Peer Messaging applications and natural language processing, to the appropriate parties.Process payments and other financial transactions.Receive new losses, verify the accuracy of information via coverage, and complete data entry for initial file setup.Perform quality review analysis of claim data for accuracy by established procedures and internal controls.Manage documents and enter data in various reinsurance claim systems.Provide operational support to claim management, technical staff, and internal and external customers.Qualifications, Education & Experience:
College Degree preferred.Work experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry is a plus.Solid organizational skills and the ability to adjust priorities, meet deadlines, and successfully operate in a fast-paced work environment.Proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.Familiarity with electronic document management applications (OnBase, SharePoint, etc.) is a plus.Experience with Peer-to-Peer Messaging and London Market Messaging is a plus.Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are required.Must be self-motivated and can work in a collaborative team.Good organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to follow through on tasks/projects.For NJ Only: The base salary range for this position is $42,000 - $63,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
