ResponsibilitiesProvide the leadership and technical supports to our internal staff and TPA partners to deliver superior results and develop strategies focused on attaining a "World Class" distinction in workers’ compensation.
Key Functions will include but not be limited to:
Provides direction and technical assistance to internal staff and TPA partners.Implements appropriate tracking mechanisms reporting on monthly results and variances.Reviews claim files for adherence to company guidelines in the areas of file documentation, reserving practices and reporting.Hires, trains and develops an effective staff providing career development and counseling to staff.Administers personnel policies and procedures in a fair and equitable manner and in accordance with all applicable corporate and regulatory requirements.Monitors critical claim data on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and reports to management on items of importance.Provides direction and technical assistance to internal staff and TPA partners.Implements appropriate tracking mechanisms reporting on monthly results and variances.Reviews claim files for adherence to company guidelines in the areas of file documentation, reserving practices and reporting.Hires, trains and develops an effective staff providing career development and counseling to staff.Administers personnel policies and procedures in a fair and equitable manner and in accordance with all applicable corporate and regulatory requirements. Qualifications BA/BS Degree7+ years of workers’ compensation claims handling experience3+ years experience supervising workers’ compensation adjustersAdjuster license strongly desired or ability to obtain license within six monthsIn depth knowledge of appropriate insurance principles and laws of workers’ compensation, preferably jurisdiction specific. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills. Strong negotiation skills. Proven critical thinking skills that demonstrates analysis/judgment and sound decision making with focus on attention to detail.
