Claims Governance Officer - 12 Month Contract

Your Role:

This role will ensure that the claims handling processes within Chubb are compliant, efficient and aligned with internal policies and external regulations. It will support the goals of the Claims Regulatory and Governance team to uplift compliance, process improvements and effective risk management.

Your Responsibilities:

Quality assurance

Trend analysis from quality review output Lead internal reviewsCustomer remediation support

Training and development 

Training and guidance to claims staff to ensure compliance with best practice and regulatory requirementsSupporting the handling of complex or sensitive claims

Policy and process oversight

Develop, implement and maintain claims governance policies and proceduresMaintain the Claims intranet page

Compliance monitoring

Implementation of regulatory change into claims practicesConduct reviews and risk assessmentsProvide claims support during internal and external assurance reviewsSupport implementation of recommendations from assurance reviews

Stakeholder management

Liaise with claims management and other internal stakeholders to effect required procedural improvements and changesSupport the development of new claims initiatives or system changes Reporting on trends, risks and performance metricsRecommend improvements based on data analysis and assurance findings Claims handling experienceGovernance or compliance exposure in an insurance company (financial service experience will be considered)Proven ability to lead, influence and manage stakeholdersFamiliarity with regulatory obligations including GICOP and CPS 230Knowledge of risk management and compliance frameworksData and reporting tools including Power BI, and Microsoft suiteAttention to detailRelevant certifications in business administration, insurance, risk management of a related field
