Aon Risk Solutions is currently looking for an experienced Liability Claims Executive to join our Claims Management Division, leading a range of large multinational and corporate clients. Reporting to the Claims
Manager and part of a team of 15 claims professionals, you will be responsible for managing a number of Self-Insured clients and effectively handle a portfolio of motor, employer’s and public liability claims.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Dublin office.

What the day will look like
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of liability claims for self-insured clients, ensuring efficient resolution and cost containment. Your day will involve developing and nurturing relationships with key client.
This will involve coordinating discussions and, where appropriate, meetings, to ensure superior level of communication between the client and underwriter if appropriate.
You will also attend Circuit and High Court sessions, including regional sittings, working to a delegated & non delegated authority basis.
The candidate will also collaborate with Aon Account Brokers on renewal negotiations, policy coverage, large losses etc.
The role involves creating and executing financial reports to supervise claims management performance and identify market opportunities for client growth. By liaising with internal and external stakeholders, you will deploy resources effectively to optimise claim outcomes and client satisfaction.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Client facing experience essential, with proven ability to build rapport and maintain relationships
+ A minimum of 5-10 years relevant claims handler experience, handling large portfolios including liability personal injury claims.
+ Team player and the ability to work on own initiative
+ Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively, at all levels of the company
+ Strong analytical skills, with an ability to prioritise effectively and complete tasks within deadlines
+ Excellent IT skills (fully proficient in Microsoft applications i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
+ Strong planning and organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
+ Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to respond to change and learning opportunities
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ A minimum of CIP qualification ideally with a view to progressing towards the MDI/ACII qualification
