Responsibilities

We have an opportunity for a Claims Concierge to join our Berkley One team! You will be responsible to deliver all that is great about Berkley One and to help deliver an exemplary claims experience to our customers. Ideal candidates will have experience working as part of a successful claims team that delivers exceptional service.

Key functions include but are not limited to:

 

At the direction of the Casualty Claims Supervisor, the Claims Concierge will support Claimants and Claims colleagues to deliver a seamless claims experience.

Process in a timely and accurate manner:Foundational claims including glass and towingFirst notice of lossInvoice processingTotal loss statementsTotal loss processing in Title ExpressCCC assignments to vendorsPosting recoveriesProperty bulk billing in ONE ClickProperty vendor assignmentsProperty loss prevention benefitsPolice report orderingFile pullsInbound and outbound mail

Arrange for car rental set ups and extensions

 

Respond to claim inquiries such as payment status, claim status, check re-issuance

 

Other projects as assigned

Qualifications High School/Associates/Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience2+ years experience in an office setting performing clerical and data entry tasksExperience contributing on a high performing claims or customer service team in a high growth, fast paced environment; you are an excellent collaboratorCalm under pressure; you have excellent organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks; you work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organizationYou have a strong sense of accountability, fun and adventureNatural curiosity; you love learning how things work, and you are always looking for innovative improvementsAbility to deal with ambiguity and work independently to get the job doneProficiency with technology
