Claims Business Intelligence Analyst

As a Claims Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights by partnering with business stakeholders to develop and improve comprehensive business intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities: 

Design, develop, and maintain executive dashboards and analytical solutions to identify business insights Perform data and systems analysis to translate business requirements into technical code or dashboards Collect, analyze, transform and load data from multiple sources into consolidated datasets Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate business performance, perform root cause analysis where needed Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights Troubleshoot issues with existing data model and dashboards and optimize visualization for best user experience Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to ensure data accuracy, viability and value Maintain BI tools; provide production support; implement enhancements and upgrades, implement application security controls, manage user access and release schedule Establish balance and control routines to ensure data quality Develop and maintain clear and succinct documentation, including user training materials Provide training and support to user community of BI tools, drive adoption of self-serve reporting Bachelor’s degree in analytical disciplines such as mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, computer science, or related field1-3 years’ experience in business intelligence, technology or analytical field preferredDemonstrate strong analytics and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasetsExperience in programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python, dada warehousing, and BI tools such as Tableau, QlikSense, or PowerBIExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsUnderstanding of business operations and the ability to translate data into business insightsAbility to effectively present and explain complex concepts to a non-technical audienceHigh attention to detail in data analysis and reportingProperty and casualty insurance industry experience a plusAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Power Point a plus

 

The pay range for the role is $69,200 to $117,600. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.  Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled
