**About the Role**
Insurance is integral to Uber’s operations and growth and insurance claims is an essential part of Uber’s insurance program. Uber Claims succeeds by delivering industry-leading service and claims cost management. Uber has a tremendous advantage over other companies in that **data and information** is readily available. The **Associate** reviews low severity and high frequency losses LaTAM region to provide accurate information to Uber’s insurance partners based out of Latin America. The **Associate** also provides the claim/incident oversight to ensure proper scrutiny with speed and efficiency, ultimately reducing loss costs. This is where as a **Claims Associate** you have an opportunity to make a significant impact to Uber’s business success.
**What the Candidate Will Do:**
To deliver with urgency a **thorough, accurate, and validated FNOL package** for L1/L2 claims to our US/CAD insurance partners to allow them to kickstart any physical damage, property damage, and bodily injury claims handling without delay.
Be **responsive** to our insurance partners and stakeholders
**Collaborate closely with regional claims teams** to ensure the delivery of an exceptional claims experience, drive claim resolution, and optimize claim costs
1. Gather, reconcile, and verify loss information from all pertinent sources to ensure that a thorough and accurate FNOL package is prepared for submission to our insurance partners
2. Proactively investigate loss information where key data is missing or potentially inaccurate to ensure that our insurance partners are as well positioned as possible to commence claims handling without unnecessary delay
3. Meet submission expectations (submissions and non-submissions) of clearing out your queue by end of business day

5. Review and address Origami risk tool tasks when due.
**Basic Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
2. Fluent in oral and written English.
3. Professional capability in other regional languages is a plus.
4. Domain Experience: Insurance Claims/Customer Service
**Preferred Qualifications:**
1. Extremely detail-orientated, organised, and a self-starter
2. Effective analytical skills to gather information, analyse facts, and make recommendations.
3. Investigate new incidents by reviewing first reports of loss and supporting materials to determine the best initial contact; communicate with Insurers and internal stakeholders, etc
Willing to work remotely or from home occasionally on Saturdays depending on business needs.
