KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The candidate must be both service-oriented and results-driven and must also possess excellent administrative, leadership and organizational skills. Candidate must be able to make timely and appropriate decisions. Experience in performance management, salary administration, training, staff development, and succession planning is a strong plus. Must be an articulate communicator who is interested in helping others achieve corporate and personal objectives. A strong knowledge of Chubb's systems, procedures, claims handling philosophy and claims handling requirements/protocols are desired. Candidate must be able to manage business relationships with internal/external customers and investigate/resolve issues and/or complaints in a fair and equitable manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 5 years property claims handling experience is required.
Prior Supervisory and/or Management experience with remote staff is required.
Working knowledge of applicable jurisdiction is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
Designations from CPCU, SCLA, AIC, etc. are preferred.
Demonstrated management and leadership capabilities.
Prior management responsibilities are helpful.
Extensive coverage/contract knowledge.
Strong analytical and investigative skills.
Strong abilities in coverage application, litigation, and contractual relationships.
Knowledgeable in damage evaluation for residential and commercial properties; ability to resolve high-exposure claims.
Superior verbal and written communication skills, including large-group presentation skills.
The pay range for the role is $ 92,300 to $156,900. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
