Projects include green stormwater infrastructure, flood risk management, and remediation efforts across the city. Join our team and your career will be amplified by a culture of empathy, innovation, and life balance—recognized by employees as the top firm to work for in 2025 by Zweig Group! **Responsibilities:** + Manage diverse projects involving multidisciplinary teams + Develop and maintain client relationships as primary or secondary client contact for projects + Lead in the development of strategy, the scope of work, and the budget for projects + Design and oversee the preparation of construction documents, applications for agency review, and/or reports + Maintain overall project quality consistent with company and professional standards + Plan and execute work tasks, as well as oversee tasks of team members, to meet project deadlines and budgets + Solve problems creatively and effectively + Communicate effectively and proactively with management, peers, and clients + Motivate, mentor, and encourage junior staff and help the team achieve success **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering; Graduate degree preferred + 7-14 years of experience in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering + PE Required; Pennsylvania PA preferred + AutoCAD proficient, Civil 3D is a plus + Understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles and models for analysis + Experience in Philadelphia strongly preferred + Project Management certification preferred **Salary Range:** The compensation range starts at $95, 000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensures. **Benefits:** + Flexible Work Environment + Paid Parental Leave + Medical + Dental + Vision + Life and AD&D Insurance + Short-Term and Long-Term Disability + 401(k) with Company Match + Paid Time Off + Holidays _Verdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
