Seeking a Civil Structural Engineer with a P.E. license to perform forensic inspections of residential and commercial buildings impacted by storms and submit detailed reports to insurance companies.
Job Requirements:
P.E. license in Georgia or Florida
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Prior experience in forensic investigations
Experience submitting claims and reports to insurance companies
Ability to climb 30 ft roofs at a 40-degree angle
Ability to access crawl spaces and attics for inspections
Good physical condition to perform site inspections
Preferred Skills:
Background inspecting damage from tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding, and fires
Experience evaluating foundation damage, tree impacts, and structural compromise
Strong technical writing skills for detailed report creation
Job Responsibilities:
Perform forensic inspections of storm-damaged residential and commercial buildings
Inspect roofs, attics, foundations, and crawl spaces for damage
Document and photograph findings during site inspections
Write detailed engineering reports for insurance claim submission
Handle daily claim assignments related to storm or disaster damage
Communicate inspection results clearly through written documentation
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
