Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Civil & Structural - Consultant - Cooling Tower with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector for Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

The Role

Must have exposure to  Review of Soil investigation report and foundation design based on safe bearing capacity, groundwater table and seismic zone. Design of pile foundations and basin structure. Static and dynamic stability including buckling, natural frequency and wind-induced vibrations. Familiarity with cooling tower types (natural draft, induced draft) and their thermal performance. Must have sound working experience in using Indian, Euro and American standards for the works.  Thorough experience in production of deliverables such as General arrangement drawings, Detail drawings & supporting Calculations. Should have experience on constructability review. Should have experience on Vendor drawing review and coordination with other disciplines. Exposure to American petroleum Industry & OISD requirement will be considered as added advantage.
